Randy Rivera is the Director of Commercial Maintenance & Contracts leading Bode Aviation, Inc. maintenance operations at Albuquerque International Sunport, Double Eagle II Airport, and Four Corners Regional Airport. As a member of the Executive Management Team, Randy helps develop and execute strategies for the continued success and growth of the company. He led a team in the development and establishment of the Fly Bode Caribbean division, extending the company’s on-demand charter operations into the Caribbean. Further, he led a team in establishing a quality management system with AS9100D & AS9110C certifications for maintenance operations at Albuquerque International Sunport and Centennial Airport.
Prior to joining Bode Aviation, Inc., Randy served as the Senior Contracting Official for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center providing cross-functional leadership to 1000+ acquisition and support professionals supporting a $102B Air Force nuclear enterprise contract portfolio. During his 30 year career in the United States Air Force, Randy also served at the Office of the Secretary Defense, Office of the Secretary of Air Force, two major command headquarters, an acquisition systems center, a product and logistics center, and as the Contracting Squadron Commander at the 1st Fighter Wing.
He attained the following Professional Certifications:
- Member of the Defense Acquisition Corps
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III in Contracting
- DAWIA Level I in Program Management
- DAWIA Level I in Acquisition Logistics
Randy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with minor in Economics from New Mexico State University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, a Master of Military Operational Art and Science from the Air Command and Staff College, and is a graduate of Air War College. He is a Distinguished Graduate of Missile Combat Crew Undergraduate Missile Training and a veteran of Operations JOINT FORGE and IRAQI FREEDOM.
