John H. Bode is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bode Aviation, Inc., Bode Aero Services Inc., and their subsidiaries. Mr. Bode oversees the Executive Management Team while being responsive to the Board of Directors and Corporate shareholders.
Mr. Bode’s experience ranges from flying Boeing 747s, Large Wide Body Aircraft for Domestic and International flights under 14 CFR Part 121 (Flag) Operations, to smaller 14 CFR Part 135 Air Taxi, On-Demand Charter operations. His expertise resides in specialized program development for International Operations; (with emphasis on South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East). He has operated aircraft throughout the world including programs in the harshest, most austere environments with unparalleled success. Mr. Bode has had the unique opportunity to fly on every continent, and in every country throughout Europe.
As with most pilots, Mr. Bode grew up with a romance for aviation. He has been actively flying Warbirds and remains current in the community as a Check Airman flying a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress. With numerous Aircraft Type-Ratings (as a Pilot in Command) and his unique experience, Mr. Bode has been certified as an Expert Witness in both District and US Federal Court.
Mr. Bode has served on numerous prestigious Boards including two gubernatorial appointments to The State of New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission overseeing judicial misconduct.
Mr. Bode’s dedication to improving the world started when he was a teenager. He joined Amigos de las America’s, a prominent and select group of highly focused individuals who’s mission is to develop relationships with host governments and serve as a catalyst to make a difference in the world. Mr. Bode volunteered in several capacities while living in Mexico and other Central American countries. Mr. Bode is fluent in Spanish with working knowledge of several other languages. He continues to be active with several philanthropic organizations today.
